Capital Cranes has engaged CAA to prepare and sell its fleet and equipment from Hume. CAA is the managing umbrella: every quote and invoice goes out on CAA letterhead under ABN 70 675 602 472. Enquiries may come through All Crane Sales or MCT Equipment, but every one is quoted, invoiced and settled by CAA — one set of paperwork, one point of accountability.

The plan in brief: three cranes sell through CAA rolling online auction (lead AT40 live on CAA during/before the 28–30 October industry conference, then one unit per week); ten cranes sell by private treaty; trucks, trailers and lifting gear go into a dedicated Mid-November dispersal auction. Onsite capture estimated 1–8 October 2026 (~6 working days from Wed 1 Oct), then a continuous weekly compile–market–list cadence with no idle gap through Mid-November. Every machine carries one sale path only — anything unsold after November moves to private treaty follow-up.

Sale strategy

Three sale paths. One per machine. Each item is placed on the path most likely to achieve the best result for that asset, and stays on it. The tag on the master inventory is set before any listing or quote goes out.

CAA rolling auction — 3 cranes

Sale-ready units run through the CAA online platform one at a time. Lead AT40 is live on CAA during/before the 28–30 October 2026 industry conference (must be up before the conference finishes ~30 Oct), then one rolling unit per week. Private-treaty compile and marketing fill every week after onsite (1–8 Oct) so there is no blank gap into Mid-November.

Private treaty — 10 cranes

Direct sale to qualified buyers, with All Crane Sales and MCT Equipment working enquiries through their domestic and international networks. Full Liebherr all-terrain fleet plus remaining Franna, Kato and Maeda units. Every quote and invoice is still issued by CAA.

Mid-November dispersal — 1 event

A dedicated Capital Cranes sale bringing the support fleet and lifting gear together in one event, backed by a full marketing campaign building to sale day. About ~20 trucks, trailers and vehicles, and about ~100 lifting gear lots. Estimated window mid-Nov 2026 (target ~10–21 Nov). Sold as-is, where-is, ex Hume ACT unless otherwise agreed.
